CURRICULUM: CBSE
The Central Board of Secondary Education (abbreviated as CBSE) is a Board of Education for public and private schools, under the Union Government of India.
Academic Curriculum
Our children are encouraged to be creative and therefore every opportunity is taken to develop their confidence, knowledge, self-esteem and life skills through technology, physical education and the creative and performing arts. To meet the curriculum needs and strict ly adhering to NCERT frameworks ; our school syllabus is specially designed to inculcate the concepts of constructive learning thus rising above the rote learning and promoting learn by doing. Also embellishing with values that have been nurtured through an international frame work amidst Indian ethos Besides taking care of the curriculum, the students are given opportunities to participate in various competitions allied with Information Technology, and they come to know where they stand. Our curriculum objectives have been laid out as per the developmental characteristics of each age group. At MCGS – every student goes though the following life phases:
- Pre primary - Joy.
- Nursery , LKG & UKG The child attempts to understand the world around him and develops a strong foundation for formal education.
- Primary - Curiosity
- Classes I-V- The child masters the basics of various subjects and develops understanding of several co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, which fosters holistic personality development
- Middle school - Inquiry
- Classes VI-VIII- Middle School curriculum has been designed to prepare the children for more rigorous academic requirement for high school.
- High school - Career
- Classes IX-X - We focus on getting the child’s fundamentals right to ensure he is ready for the stream he wishes to pursue whether in India or abroad
